ABOUT US
The IA² Artificial Intelligence Research and Applications group of the University of Malaga has been involved in Artificial Intelligence Research activities since the mid-80s.
Throughout these years, we have worked in various areas of AI, such as Expert Systems, Intelligent Instructor Systems and AI Applications to problems of diagnosis and engineering design. The group is made up of professors and researchers from the ETSI Informatica of the University of Malaga.
These are some of the most outstanding functions of our research group:
We investigate basic Artificial Intelligence through searches, learning processes, reasoning, etc.
We develop IT systems that apply Artificial Intelligence to solve real-world problems, in addition to online distance learning, product recommendations, civil engineering, business intelligence, etc.
We share our innovative technology with industry and service sectors.
Researchers
Our research group is made up of more than thirty professors and researchers from ETSI Informática of the University of Malaga. Among them there are four full professors and about ten associate professors.
For more than twenty-five years, we have carried out and participated in numerous European, national and regional research projects, as well as in technology transfer contracts.
